Despite Sunday’s rain predictions, which made us think about suspending the event, finally we could celebrate the 3rd edition in our school facilities.
In this event we took the opportunity to inaugurate the football field as well as conducting a set of sports activities directed by Eric Jacobs, the P.E. teacher.
Thanks to the collaboration of Tirso, Maria and Ainara as sport instructors, the students of all primary courses of MPF, MPG and Futbol Sala Vilafant could participate without any commitment.
The event was presented by students Vanessa and Marc (T3) and Luca (T2), making official the inauguration of the last generation football field of our center.
In order to finish the event, we made popular and traditional games were both students and family could participate together, encouraging group cohesion and healthy sports practice.
Thanks to the great cooperation offered by the Montessori Palau Figueres community with support from Girona, we provided fruit (from Fruites Maite), as well as canteens and caps for all the participants.
Luca’s opinion: I really liked the activities that were carried out in the field and I also found the participation of adults in the game very interesting.
Vanessa’s opinion: On this day I noticed that there was a very atmosphere where everyone had fun and showed a very positive attitude.
Marc’s opinion: The weather conditions for this day did not seem suitable to do the event. But thanks to the predictions of Emili Garriga (the director of the center), we could do it. The families participated a lot and it went very well.
