Bread Baking as a Practical Life Activity

At Infant Community, children are busy baking bread!
This lesson embodies all the gals of Practical Life: order, concentration, coordination and independence.
They carefully follow the steps: put up together the ingredients in the proper order, mix and knead the dough, shape it (heart shapes, gingerbread shapes, hedgehog shapes, etc.) and bake the bread.
Next, of course, is clean up. Children wash the dishes, table, and countertops.
It´s so amazing to see how the dough rise!
We all love so much this bread with olive oil, and the little chefs do not miss sharing it with all of us.
