Fantastic time with students exploring the fascinated world of animal habits
Last week, I had a fantastic time with students as we explored the fascinating world of animal habits in a hands-on, interactive way! We did an activity where we used animal toys to help students learn about the different habitats and behaviors of various animals. It was not only a fun experience, but also a great opportunity to teach them about the diversity of life on our planet.
I brought a variety of animal toys to class, everything from jungle animals to farm animals, and even some sea creatures. Each toy represented a different animal, and the goal was for the students to sort them based on the habitats they live in. We talked about animals that live in forests, deserts, oceans, arctic…
By the end of the activity, not only did the students have a better understanding of animal behaviors and habitats, but they also had fun working together and learning in a hands-on, visual way.
