We´re out in Space!
This week our eyes and minds are taking a knowledge trip to space where Taller 2 students learn about Earth´s orbit and the origins of our planet´s seasons. Naming the seasons is just a small part of the whole picture when they realise the importance of the Earth and the Sun interaction, thus leading to a science vocabulary both familiar and new: solstices, equinoxes and opposite seasons depending on hemispheres.
Students work in pairs with questionnaires to revise the contents and to get inspired for eventual cardboard projects.
To be continued in next blog post!
