Music is a fun way to learn languages.
Hello! I’m Bryce, the new English assistant at Montessori Palau Figueres, and I’m pleased to be working with all age groups here at the school.
Learning English is much more than just grammar and verb tenses. Conversation and vocabulary building are also important, and learning through music is a great way to improve both—especially for the youngest students at the school.
The children absolutely love singing along to nursery rhyme classics, including “Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” “Baa Baa Black Sheep,” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” They also enjoy taking turns playing the guitar, as well as other instruments in the classroom.
Learning English through songs is an excellent way for children to practise English while having fun!
